We had a wonderful night at Wilson Park with the Granite City Park District releasing ladybugs to kickoff our Summer Reading program - Plant a Seed, Read!

We have more exciting programs coming up all summer long so don't miss out!

🌱💚 Honoring a lasting legacy at SMRLD.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the dedication of the Seed Library at our 2001 Delmar Avenue location in honor of Lynda Seegert, a longtime SMRLD employee whose love of gardening and care for our community left a lasting impact.

During the ceremony, we proudly unveiled a commemorative plaque honoring Lynda’s memory and the many years she spent enriching lives through her work at SMRLD. It was a meaningful afternoon of remembrance, reflection, and celebration.

We hope the Seegert Seed Library continues to grow as a place of learning, connection, and inspiration for gardeners of all ages. 🌼🌿

Thursday is the preview sale. Admission is $6.00 unless you are a member of the Six Mile Regional Library Friends of the Library. Free Admission Friday and Saturday. Saturday a bag of books can be purchased for $6.00.
