We are excited to welcome our newest School Resource Officer, Officer Shultz, to Granite Quarry Elementary School! 🎉⭐

We are grateful to have him joining our Dragon family as a partner in helping keep our students and staff safe while building positive relationships throughout our school community. Thank you for your commitment to serving others and helping make GQES a safe, welcoming place where our Dragons can learn, grow, and ROAR! 💚💙

Help us show Officer Shultz some Dragon love as he begins this exciting new chapter with us! Once a Dragon, always a Dragon! 🐉🔥

🍂 LEAF VACUUMING IS STARTING IN GRANITE QUARRY!

Fall is here, and the Town of Granite Quarry Public Works Department will begin seasonal leaf collection on Tuesday, October 13, and Wednesday, October 14.

📅 Here’s what residents need to know:

Put leaves out on Monday for pickup on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Please do not bag leaves. Our crews use a leaf-vacuum vehicle to collect them.

No need to call to schedule pickup! Crews will travel throughout town.

Leaf collection is seasonal, with crews scheduled during the second and fourth weeks of each month as the season progresses.

Thank you for helping keep Granite Quarry looking its best this fall!

For more information, visit www.granitequarrync.gov or call 704-279-5596.
