DVCMG Backyard Cookoff. Members had the challenge as to who has the best backyard cooking. There was some cooking on site, but many were prepared in home kitchens, no worries. A great variety of very delicious entrees and desserts. Competition was intense, the winners, Jay’s ribs first place in the entrée category, Chuck Andee’s mint cake first in desserts. Everyone left very satisfied, especially since you had sampled all the entries to vote for your favorite! A very nice turnout of Brits to surrounding the group. And not to forget the trebuchet practice, ready for our next siege. Always a battle to get the canopy back in the back, but another success!
