We have continued to support the Sizanani Outreach Programme (SOP) and Duduza Care Centre during the pandemic. First, by allocating resources to purchase tools needed by their outreach teams. Most recently, we funded psychosocial training for the care teams (later this month)! We are pleased to be a part of their recovery as they continue to serve children and families in need!! ❤️❤️❤️

Just over 11 years ago, Eric and I left Irvine and moved to South Africa. One thing that still amazes us is the ongoing love and support that we get from our Irvine family. TODAY several TAP board members had a meeting with some of my former students who are now just amazing adults.
This meeting was a conversation that focused on relaunching the Young Professionals Board for The Africa Project. Nkosazana joined us to share her experiences and wisdoms. We previewed a video from a camp that The Africa Project was part of a few years ago (see below).
At the end of the meeting, this small group of thoughtful, committed people made the decision to help change the world (Margaret Mead) and I cannot help but feel hopeful! It felt a lot like that very first meeting in Nancy McGinn's living room in 2005 when The Africa Project was born!
Big hugs to Anna Ritoch, , Kahlah Macedo, Nkosazana Dlamini and the other amazing YPB members who will join this important effort. On behalf of our TAP Board (past and present) let me say thank you! We cannot wait to see what you will you do together.

Just Footprints Foundations - Twinstreams Camp
