Howard Fire Rescue wants to send a heartfelt Thank you to all the friends and community members who attended last Saturday's Open House. Howard Fire Rescue and Howard FIre Auxiliary would like to extend a very big Thank You to local businesses who donated gift baskets, plates, utensils, Milk, Juice and Butter for the event. The weather was perfect and we hosted over 3000 people who enjoyed a hearty breakfast, learned about fire safety, partcipated in the duck races and so much more on Saturday. For those who missed the event mark your calendars for Next October, Saturday the 9th. Please enjoy our recap reel of the days events and fun! With the Village of Howard

Today we met with the kindergarten classes at Forest Glen Elementary. As with the other schools, we discussed when to call 911, what a smoke alarm sounded like and what to do when it alarms and the classes went through the fire truck. The students had a lot of great questions today!
