Day two of the 2026 Regional Captain’s Testing put candidates’ leadership, decision-making, and fireground skills to work during the Dynamic Tactical Assessment. 🚒

Thank you to our partners at Corona De Tucson Fire District and Santa Rita Fire District, our evaluators, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make this regional effort possible.

Congratulations to all candidates on their hard work as the process continues! 🎉

Sopori’s 2nd graders brought the ENERGY last week for Mini Musters!

It was a beautiful day for FIRE SAFETY, and these kiddos knocked it out of the park with turnout-gear relays, fire-escape drills, bucket brigades, and spraying water!

Happy Fire Prevention Month!

Another Mini Muster in the books at Sahuarita Primary!

It’s pretty awesome to see these young minds learning, having fun, and discovering important fire safety skills.

We love sharing these moments with our future generation! And between us… we have just as much fun as the kiddos!

Happy Fire Prevention Month!

WOW! Nearly 1,000 guests at Friday's Pancake Breakfast

A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us, and to our amazing staff, vendors, and community partners, for making this year’s SRFD Pancake Breakfast such a success!

It was about so much more than a FREE BREAKFAST! It was about bringing our community together, sharing smiles, building relationships, and making memories!
The pancakes were just a BONUS!

MEET TWO OF OUR RETIREES!

Over the years, Diane Vetter and Paul Miller have made quite an impact on our district. From portraits and publishing a book to creating the popular Vetter Belt, a tool still regularly carried on our trucks. Their creativity and contributions have left a lasting mark.

Recently, Station 151 crews came up with a unique project to transform one of the station walls, and who better to call on than the creative talents of retirees Paul and Diane!

Retirement may have changed their titles, but not their commitment to the district.

THANK YOU
