The Greencastle Police Department teamed up with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office to take on the fire department in Wawa’s Hoagies for Heroes Challenge during today’s Grand Opening celebration!

We’re happy to report that law enforcement came away with the win! 🏆 But we have to give credit where it’s due. The fire department gave us a serious run for our money and made sure we had to earn those bragging rights!

More importantly, it was a fun event and a wonderful way to celebrate Wawa’s opening while bringing together our local first responders and community.

Thank you to Wawa for inviting us to participate and for supporting the men and women who serve our community. We appreciate everyone who came out to cheer us on and help welcome Wawa to Greencastle!

🚓💙🚒 Congratulations to everyone involved, and we’ll enjoy the bragging rights… at least until the rematch!
