🇺🇸 Great to see our retired state representative Bob Cherry and so many patriots at the Hancock County Friends of the NRA dinner.

The 2nd amendment is the right that protects all our other rights and I’ll always fight to preserve it. I’m honored to have earned the NRA - National R***e Association of America’s endorsement and A rating.

‼️When you vote in the Nov. 3rd election, you'll see two public questions on your ballot.

1️⃣ Public Question 1: Keeping dangerous offenders off our streets

👉Right now, judges can only deny bail for murder or treason.
👉Public Question 1 would let judges keep dangerous violent offenders in jail until trial when they're likely to hurt someone.
👉A prosecutor must still prove with strong evidence that a crime was committed and that there's no safe way to release them.

📜Ballot language: "Currently, under the Constitution of the State of Indiana, a person charged with murder or treason is not entitled to be released on bail if the proof is evident or the presumption strong. Shall the Constitution of the State of Indiana be amended to provide that a person charged with an offense other than murder or treason is not entitled to bail if: (1) the proof is evident or the presumption strong; and (2) the state proves by clear and convincing evidence that no release conditions will reasonably protect the safety of any other person or the community. (This question concerns Article 1, Section 17 of the Constitution of the State of Indiana.)"

2️⃣ Public Question 2: Helping small towns find judges

👉Many small towns and rural areas have few local lawyers to serve as judges.
👉Right now, a city or town court judge must live in that city or town.
👉Public Question 2 would let them live anywhere in the court's county, or the closest neighboring Indiana county.

📜Ballot language: "Shall the Constitution of the State of Indiana be amended to permit the judge of a city or town court to reside in: (1) the county in which the court is located; or (2) the bordering county closest to the city or town in which the court is located? (This question concerns Article 6, Section 6 of the Constitution of the State of Indiana.)"

🗳️Early voting is open and Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.

🚔 Honored to earn the Indiana Fraternal Order of Police endorsement. I’ll always back the blue and stand with the men and women in law enforcement who put their lives on the line to keep us safe.

That’s why I’ve coauthored new laws that support law enforcement and school resource officers and provide protections to officers injured on the job.

Thank you to our local law enforcement for protecting our communities.

⛹🏻‍♀️🏊‍♀️ I voted for a 2025 law to ensure fairness & protect opportunities for female athletes.

This commonsense law states that biological men cannot compete in female sports at the college level in the state of Indiana.

A recent Indiana law already prohibited biological men from participating in female sports in our K-12 schools.

Authored by Rep. Michelle Davis, House Enrolled Act 1041 passed with bipartisan support and was signed into law by the governor.
