START WITH HELLO CHALLENGE

We put a simple question to the test… 👀👋🏽

“How many people can I get to START WITH HELLO?” 💚💬

What started as a quick challenge turned into something powerful—students and staff slowing down, making eye contact, and choosing connection over silence in the hallways and around the building 😊

A simple “hello” sparked smiles, conversations, and positive energy everywhere we went 💚✨

Let’s keep the momentum going—one hello at a time 👋🏽💚

We love to see our Rams leading with positivity and spreading good vibes all around! 🐏✨

Let’s keep choosing kindness and saying “hello” every single day! 💬💚

💚👋🏽START WITH HELLO WEEK! 👋🏽💚
📅 September 22nd–25th

This week, Rankin Elementary is celebrating Start With Hello Week! 💚 Start With Hello is a program created by Sandy Hook Promise that teaches students how to recognize when someone may feel alone or left out, reach out with kindness, and start with a simple “hello.” 👋🏽😊

Throughout the week, our students will participate in fun activities focused on kindness, friendship, inclusion, empathy, and making sure everyone feels like they belong. 🌟 Sometimes something as small as saying hello, inviting someone to join you, or checking on a classmate can make a BIG difference!

💚 GREEN OUT WEDNESDAY! 💚
We are asking ALL students and staff to wear GREEN on Wednesday as we come together to show our support for Start With Hello! 🟢👕💚

Families, we encourage you to continue the conversation at home by asking your child how they can help someone feel seen, included, and connected at school.🗣️💬

At Rankin, we believe a kinder and more connected school starts with ALL of us! 💚👋🏽
