Another recent playground addition funded by Walk 4 Greene dollars is the borders surrounding the playground equipment! These borders provide easy access to the equipment and help keep the mulch in place, reducing how often it needs to be replenished and saving money in the long run!

Congratulations to Ms. Boss’s and Mrs. Ridgill’s classes for raising the most money so far! Each class received a set of cheer grams, and the teachers received a $10 gift card!

Keep raising money, Gators! We’re almost halfway to our goal! 💚🐊

Another way your Walk 4 Greene dollars support our school is through the beautification budget! The flowers and plants you see here were purchased with just a small portion of that budget. We want our school to feel warm and welcoming to all General Greene families and visitors. And you never know when our next Gator family might be driving past the school! 🐊💚

Gaga ball has been an amazing addition to our playground over the last few years! Sunday, November 1, our beautification team is adding flooring to improve drainage, giving kids something better to play on after it rains than a mud pit!
Your Walk 4 Greene dollars helped purchase the Gaga ball pit years ago, and those same dollars are now funding this flooring upgrade! Every dollar makes a difference!
Please continue to support Walk 4 Greene, and come out to help beautify our campus on November 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Stop by anytime during those hours. We’d love to see you there!

Continuing with our theme of increased safety, previous Walk 4 Greene funds were used to purchase this weather-safe food delivery box. This allows delivery drivers to drop off orders without entering our secured school building, while also saving our office staff time and effort in identifying visitors and granting access. Now, staff can enjoy their yummy lunches while helping ensure that our building remains secure!

We are currently at 25% of our goal. Can you help us reach our goal?

PTA recently provided a few important upgrades to the nurse’s office; a shower curtain to protect the privacy of students’ personal items kept on shelves and an updated medicine cabinet large enough to securely store medications the nurse has to keep for student use. Your Walk 4 Greene dollars helped fund these purchases - ensuring safety and privacy for ALL our students! Remember, every single dollar makes an impact! Link in bio to register and start fundraising.

Encouraging messages remind students, staff and even you, the parent, of how important every single person is to our school community! Please register if you haven’t already and fundraise so we can meet our goal of $21,000!
