What difference can a hundred years make? In the case of these photos, the answer would have to come from the viewer's own opinion. This week's Greenup County historic photo(s) is a "then and now" separated by a century. The building is on the corner of Main and Harrison Streets in Greenup. The first photo was taken around 1925 when First National Bank of Greenup was there. The Columbia Hotel is to the right in the picture. The people were identified as A. V. Po***ck, bank president; Winifred Lawson; Doris Curry Earwood; and Annabel Baker.

Currently, the building houses the Greenup Branch of First & Peoples Bank. The photo was from Google Maps Street View and was captured in December 2025. Do you think there have been a significant number of changes to the building from 1925 till 2025?
