Research shows exposure to gun violence increases long-term trauma and suicidal thoughts, especially in heavily impacted communities.
Gun violence is now recognized as a public health crisis in the United States, impacting mental health far beyond the victims themselves.
But hear this clearly:
You are not weak for needing help.
You are not alone in what you feel.

What a beautiful day of celebration, healing, and transformation!
Survivors With A Testimony (SWAT) proudly celebrated the graduates of our Rise & Renew Healing Journey: Healing Is My Portion program. This graduation was more than receiving a certificate—it was a declaration that healing is possible, freedom is available, and purpose still remains.
Over the course of this journey, our graduates courageously faced past hurts, identified triggers, embraced self-worth, established healthy boundaries, and committed to their healing process. Their stories, testimonies, and growth reminded us that what was meant to break them became the very thing God used to strengthen them.
We celebrate each graduate for choosing themselves, doing the hard work, and refusing to allow pain to have the final say.
