🍼Community Baby Shower🍼
All Mothers Welcomed! Register for our Community Baby Shower that will be held Saturday, September 21st from 10am-1pm at The Drew Steele Center. We are accepting donations for this event and for more information, please call 252.329.4269.
As you all know, we have not been able to have a swap in a year. We are usually a bi-annual event. I'm assuming people are still in need and could benefit from this event. So...lets get creative. How can we help each other, though we cannot gather for a swap?
I was thinking we can post the needs we have and see who is available to help. I suggest being as specific as possible. For example: "I need a stroller and 3-6 month little girl clothes for the spring and 6-9 month girl clothes for the summer. A swim suit would be nice." "My son needs size 9/10 shorts, and a pair of soccer cleats in size 3." "I am in need of maternity clothes size XL and any breastfeeding tools and some baby toys." If you have what that person needs, please post what you have in comments and plan a public place to meet.
Remember, this is a FREE swap. Also, be smart about information you share, especially if the conversation moves to a private message. There is no need for anyone to share family details, and meeting in an open public place is best.
I invited some new people with hopes that maybe, possibly we can have a fall 2021 swap and it will be the biggest, most successful one yet!

Our fall swap is all done! Thank you to all who participated, volunteered, and spread the word. Leftovers are going to the Carolina Pregnancy Center and the Salvation Army. Be on the lookout in early spring for news of our next biannual event.

Our fall event is happening NOW. Come to Sheppard Library uptown Greenville in the next hour for FREE clothes
Today is a great day to go through your children's toys, clothes, books, etc. and set aside what is no longer needed in your family. Bring donations to Sheppard Memorial Library on Evans St in Greenville on Saturday, Oct.26th from 10:00-12:00 (the 1st hour is best!). We will be in meeting rooms A and B (across from the ladies and men's bathrooms before you enter the library).
If you don't have anything to bring then PLEASE COME ANYWAY. This event is for anyone in need of gently used items for their kids/maternity. SHARE SHARE SHARE!
Remember our next swap is THIS month on the 26th!

Sheppard Memorial Library Meeting Rooms A and B
Bring gently used or new children's clothing for ages 0-17, toys, gear, shoes, books, etc. as well as maternity clothes and pregnancy related items. Browse other donations and take home what your family needs FOR FREE. Donated items are encouraged but not necessary to participate.
Leftovers will go to local, non-profit charities. Please share!
For future reference, we cannot take infant car seats, child car seats, or booster seats.
