We have been informed that the Boys & Girls Club will be CLOSED for the remainder of the school year.

If this affects your child’s after-school transportation plans, please contact the school at 252-752-5938 and we will relay the message to your child.

End-of-Grade testing resumes Tuesday, June 2nd with Math and Math 1. Please ensure your child gets a good night’s sleep, eats a healthy breakfast, and arrives to school on time.

Congratulations to Ms. Boyd and the band students who represented Wellcome as members of the Pitt County Collective Band.

Joining forces with C.M. Eppes, E.B. Aycock, Farmville, and Pactolus, the ensemble earned 1st Place in their division and 1st Place Overall among all middle school/junior high groups.🥇🎵👏

We are so proud of their hard work, talent, and outstanding achievement. Way to represent Pitt County!

End-of-Grade testing begins Thursday, May 28 (Science), and continues on Friday , May 29 (Reading). Please ensure your child gets a good night’s sleep, eats a healthy breakfast, and arrives to school on time.

Also remember that all students who want to request bus transportation for the 2026-2027 school year need to complete the ridership survey.

Last evening, our rising 6th graders officially signed their AVID Commitment Contracts during our first annual AVID Signing Night! A huge thank you to our inspiring student speakers and our incredible 6th-8th grade scholars for making this red carpet event such a success.
