πŸ’œ 1 in 3 women and 1 in 6 men.

Domestic violence affects more people than we may realize. Behind every statistic is a real person, a family, a friend, a coworker, or someone in our community.

Domestic violence doesn't discriminate. It can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, background, or income.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and awareness is where change begins. By educating ourselves, recognizing the warning signs, and supporting survivors, we can help break the silence.

πŸ’œ Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued in their relationships.

If you or someone you know needs support, Women In Need is here to help.

πŸ’œ WITH SURVIVORS, ALWAYS. πŸ’œ

This year's Domestic Violence Awareness Month theme, "With Survivors, Always," is more than just a message. It's a commitment to stand beside survivors, honor those whose lives have been lost, and remind those impacted by domestic violence that they are not alone.

πŸ’œ Showing up matters πŸ’œ

When we come together as a community, we send a powerful message to survivors: We see you. We hear you. We believe you. And we stand with you. ALWAYS.

We invite you to join Women In Need (WIN) for our Rockwall County Domestic Violence Awareness Month Vigil as we remember, honor, and stand together in hope.
