This FRIDAY!!! Come out and see us and grab a plate. Dine in or take out. We will have t shirts, challenge coins, and desserts for sale as well. We look forward to seeing our community friends and family.

It’s almost that time of year again! Mark your calendars and come out to support your local fire department. We can’t wait to see everyone. T-shirts and challenge coins will be for sale, as well as a wide range of desserts.

Production Event Scheduled East of Pactolus, Near US-264/HWY 30
Public notice for fireworks, blasting during evening hours June 16-18 Pitt County Sheriff

PITT COUNTY, N.C. – Pitt County Emergency Management (PCEM) notifies residents that as part of film production happening east of Pactolus, near the US-264/HWY 30 intersection, pyrotechnics including fireworks and blasting are scheduled during the evenings of Monday, June 16, Tuesday, June 17 and Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

Weather permitting, the anticipated times are 9:00 p.m. through 12:00 a.m., but due to the nature of the event, it may run later.

Residents may hear loud blasting sounds and see fireworks or smoke.

There is no threat to the public and Emergency Management confirms calls to 9-1-1 Communications are not needed for this event.

The Pitt County Fire Marshal will be onsite for the production with N.C. licensed pyrotechnicians.
