Good morning, Smithfield ☕️ 🍁
We are now upon the second week of early voting taking place at the Town of Smithfield, RI Town Hall, normal office hours, on the second floor.

I’ve received a decent amount of feedback regarding the lack of clarity on the language of the 16 ballot questions, to which I agree.
For further clarification, please feel free to give me a call, as some have, or watch my video linked below where I provide a brief description of each ballot question.

I appreciate the desire to do one’s due diligence on these questions and candidates.

Lastly, if you appreciate what Councilman Iannotti and I have done (and have attempted to do) over the past four years, please remember:

We can’t stop bad proposals with only the two of us.
We can’t enact proper safeguards for taxpayer money, zoning and open space, etc., with only the two of us.
We can’t pass a Smithfield Code of Ethics with only the two of us.
We can’t enact good government proposals with only the two of us.

We are hoping to earn your vote to continue the work we have been doing to protect the town and the taxpayer.

It is imperative that voters vote for candidates that have the proper experience and hold strong values, principles, ethics, and morals.

While our Good Government Town Council Team has similar beliefs, we also differ in many ways which allows us to learn from one another. Our differences and commitment to follow through is essential to holding each other accountable.

I kindly urge you, the voter, to please vote for our team of professionals, all homeowners and taxpayers, who each bring something different to the table.

That is what Smithfield needs and deserves at this critical time. Our financial position is on the brink and we need good governance more than ever.

Good Government Town Council Team:

Councilman Michael Iannotti
Kathy Gaidimas for Smithfield
Kenneth Sousa, Candidate, Smithfield RI Town Council
Bobby Nikolopoulos for Smithfield Town Council
Rachel Toppi - Smithfield Town Council

It’s not about political party, it’s about MORALS, VALUES, PRINCIPLES, ETHICS, EXPERIENCE, COMMITMENT, RECORD.

Thank you for your consideration. See you soon. 🗳️

For those taking advantage of Early Voting at Town Hall over the next few days, myself and/or my team will be there to answer any last minute questions or town concerns you'd like us to work on as your prospective councilmembers. If you haven't had the chance to meet us in-person yet, swinging by is another great opportunity to chat with us and learn about our vision and qualifications, even if you're planning to wait and vote on Election Day. Look forward to seeing each of you at the polls! Your Vote is Your Voice, it makes a difference at the local level!

Early voting starts today! Vote State Representative Paul Santucci for District 53 State Representative!

I just finished visiting my 3000th constituent this campaign season.

Anyone who knows me is aware that I take a lot of notes and appreciate the input that I get from voters, no matter their political affiliation. I want what’s best for district 53.

Being a small business owner, I have a can-do attitude. That’s why I finished my last 38 in the rain.
