Today from 10 am to 2 pm at the Pitt County Agriculture Center, we will be collecting and safely disposing of pesticides at our biennial Pesticide Collection Day. Anyone with old, unused, and unwanted pesticide products (herbicides, insecticides, or fungicides) for farm, landscape, or home use can bring those products to this event for safe disposal. Products must be properly labeled so that they can be identified.
We will not be able to accept fertilizer, oil, gasoline, cleaning products, or any other non-pesticide chemicals at this event. Please comment below or call 252-902-1704 if you have any questions.
