A RECORD-BREAKING YEAR AT WADE HAMPTON HIGH SCHOOL!

History is made at Wade Hampton High School! ๐ŸŽ‰

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our highest school report card score in school history since the current school report card metrics began in 2018. In 2026, Wade Hampton increased in every category! This outstanding progress reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our students, teachers, staff, and entire school community.

๐ŸŽ“ 90/90! For the first time in school history, Wade Hampton has exceeded 90% in both Graduation Rate and College and Career Readiness (CCR)! We are proud of our CCR graduates, with 217 graduates earning Completer status and 132 graduates gaining valuable work-based learning experiences to help prepare them for life beyond high school. Our graduation rate is 92.2% (up from 87.4% in 2025), and College and Career Ready is 90.8% (up from 81.2%).

๐Ÿ“šAcademic Achievement (Algebra 1 and English 2) earned the most points in this category than ever before.

๐ŸŒWe achieved a six-year high in Preparing for Success, with measurable growth in student achievement. Our students made significant academic gains, with a 6.1% increase in proficiency for Biology and a 10.7% increase in proficiency for U.S. History this past year!

๐ŸŒŸ High School Student Success: We earned our highest percentage of points in school history, with growth in 9th, 10th, and 11th grade promotion rates. Our Freshman Academy led the way with an outstanding 94.8% promotion rate!

These achievements reflect the hard work, dedication, and grit of our entire school community!

๐ŸŒŸ Congratulations to our September Teacher and Staff Member of the Month! ๐ŸŒŸ

โ˜• A special thank-you to Scootin' on Wade for sponsoring our Teacher and Staff Member of the Month awards! Your support helps us celebrate the incredible people who make our school community thrive.

๐ŸŽ Teacher of the Month: PJ Mancuso
"I am nominating Dr. Mancuso for Teacher of the Month in recognition of the tremendous work he did to make Spirit Week such a success. He did an outstanding job coordinating all aspects of the week. Dr. Mancuso and his team developed a vision for Spirit Week that extended beyond the walls of our school. His team created opportunities for students, staff, and the broader community to feel connected and invested in the experience. His leadership, collaboration, and commitment to building a strong school culture were evident throughout the entire week. Thank you, Dr. Mancuso!"

โœ๏ธ Staff Member of the Month: Clayton Wilson
"Clayton does a great job at taking care of the school. He consistently shows up to work, ensures his daily duties are complete and never complains. Being in a thankless role can often be hard to stay motivated and diligent in maintaining a strong work ethic yet he seems to be steady all the time. Recently, I noted prior to Spirit Week, students kept asking him for help with hanging signs and banners around the school. I found him on numerous occasions getting ladders out and climbing around the school to help students hang their signs. Then the following week assisting in cleaning up all the additional trash that comes with Spirit Week and all the extra food vendors in the cafeteria. This work could easily have been ignored but it is the small acts of service that help support the big picture. Great job taking care of business Clayton!"

๐Ÿ’ซ Thank you, Dr. Mancuso and Clayton Wilson, for all you do for our school community! ๐Ÿ’ซ
