Good evening Bulldog Families! I hope everyone had a great weekend, this is Mrs. Harris with your weekly news. Thank you to everyone for ensuring your scholar was present for testing. I am very proud of how hard our staff and students have worked this year. Please join us on Monday for our 6th Grade Awards from 9:00 - 10:00 and 7th Grade Awards from 12:30 - 1:30. Our 8th Grade Awards will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 - 10:00. School will dismiss on Wednesday at 12:30 for students as they begin their summer break.

I am so thankful that my journey led me to CM Eppes. I am thankful that you all allowed me the opportunity to lead your wonderful scholars. Each and everyone of them have greatness within them, even the ones that are still searching for it. Believe in them, support them and don't give up on them. There is no doubt that they will be successful in life. Thank you for all of your support during my tenure as principal at CM Eppes for the past 6 and 1/2 years. I will be retiring from education at the end of this school year. Please continue to support the staff and students here as they are all some very special people. As we always say ... Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog! I love you all! Have a great summer! 🩵🐾🩵

Congratulations to the CME and EBA Orchestra for earning 2nd place in their division and a rating of superior at the annual Music in the Parks competition on Saturday at Busch Gardens in Virginia!

Good evening Bulldog families! I hope everyone had a great weekend, this is Mrs. Harris with your weekly news. We have a busy testing schedule for our scholars this week and it is as follows:

Tuesday - Math EOG/EOCs
Wednesday - 8th Grade Science Retest/Make-Ups
Thursday - Reading Retests/Make-Ups
Friday - Math Retests/Make-Ups

It is very important to us for all scholars that do not pass their EOGs/EOCs on the 1st time to retest. It will now count for our growth and proficiency and this matters. I ask that you please allow your scholar to continue to come to school to ensure the retest can be taken if at all possible. Also, it is important for those scholars that were absent to make up their tests. Thank you in advance for partnering with us.

Planning ahead for next week, 6th grade Awards Day will be Monday from 9:00 - 10:00 and 7th grade grade will be from 12:30 - 1:30. 8th grade awards day will be on Tuesday from 9:00 - 10:00 with a fun day planned afterwards for 8th grade scholars.
