"Alcohol affects the adolescent brain differently than it affects the adult brain — because the human brain isn’t fully developed until about age 25." According to their research, kids who begin drinking before 15 years old have a 40% chance of developing alcohol use disorder; those who wait until they are 21 years old only have a 7% chance.
