Beginning Monday, June 15th, and continuing until July 27th, GUC will temporarily change the disinfectant used in the water treatment process. The Water Treatment Plant will be using chlorine rather than chloramines during this time.
This brief, scheduled change in disinfectant is a standard water treatment practice to keep water mains clean and free of potentially harmful bacteria throughout the year. For additional information, visit our website to learn more or follow this link https://bit.ly/3SrGPTy

Summer isn't officially here yet, but summer temperatures have already arrived.
Thermostat Tip: Keep in mind how hard your AC must work to keep your home cool while outside temps rise. See graphic. To help out your system (and your wallet), set your thermostat on the highest comfortable setting. We recommend 78 degrees or higher. Remember, every degree above 78 will save you about 4% in cooling costs. If you’re not going to be home for an extended period, raise your thermostat to 80-82 degrees.
