DAY 9 | 12 Prayers for the 12 Steps 🙏🏽

How many times are you going to keep apologizing for something God has already forgiven you for?

Making amends is important, but living in condemnation is not what Jesus Christ called us to do.

Once you’ve genuinely repented and taken responsibility for your actions, you don’t have to keep carrying yesterday’s guilt into tomorrow.

Romans 8:1 reminds us that there is NO condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus!

Make amends. Release the shame. Walk in freedom.

Have you ever looked at your life and realized that some of the things you thought were normal were actually patterns you grew up witnessing?

Sometimes we carry beliefs about marriage, relationships, and family without ever stopping to ask where they came from.

And here’s something worth remembering: You can honor your family without repeating every pattern.

That’s why I created Moladeth: The Family Audit Class. We’re taking an honest, Scripture-centered look at the things we’ve inherited, learned, and normalized.

Join me November 12 for this live, 90-minute class.

Registration is $35. Click the link in my bio to reserve your seat.

Can we talk about something for a minute?

Sometimes the hardest person to forgive is ourselves.

We ask God for forgiveness, but somehow we keep replaying the mistakes, the people we’ve hurt, and the decisions we wish we could change.

But here’s what I want you to remember: God never intended for repentance to become a lifetime sentence of condemnation.

There’s a difference between conviction that leads to repentance and shame that keeps us bound.

Romans 8:1 reminds us that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Prayer 8 of our 12 Prayers for 12 Steps reminds us that we can acknowledge our wrongs without allowing them to define us.

Your past may be part of your testimony, but it doesn’t have to be your prison. 🤎

Save this for the days when guilt tries to convince you that God hasn’t forgiven you.

Before you say “I do,” there are some conversations you need to have. And I’m not just talking about wedding colors, finances, or where you’re going to live. 🤎

I’m talking about the things we watched growing up but never really discussed.

Did the women in your family have healthy marriages? How was conflict handled? What did love look like behind closed doors? And what have you unknowingly carried into your own relationships?

Sometimes we spend so much time preparing for the wedding that we forget to examine the foundation we’re building a marriage on.

And here’s something I’ve learned: You can love and honor your family without repeating every pattern you witnessed.

That’s why we’re having these conversations in MOLADETH: The Family Audit Class.

We’re going to examine our family histories, recognize patterns, and begin asking the questions that can help us build differently.

Have you ever noticed that some things in our families are so normal that we don’t even question them?
Im build a community for women who want to come out of that mindset... Make sure you follow!!!

Maybe every woman you grew up around struggled in marriage. Maybe addiction was something nobody talked about. Or maybe you watched the women in your family carry everything and assumed that’s just what being a woman looked like.

But have you ever stopped to ask why?

Not to blame our mothers or grandmothers. Not to shame anybody. But to understand what we’ve inherited, what we’ve learned, and what we don’t want to repeat.

That’s one of the conversations we’re having in MOLADETH: The Family Audit Class on November 12.

Which number spoke to you?

Save this for later, share it with a woman you love, and follow | | for more conversations like this.

Most women desire but for me I didn’t want to get . The women in my family didn’t have good marriages and the men in my family were taken out prematurely.
BUT I still married and divorced in under one year!!!

I watched my mom marry 3 different times and have failed relationships . I was a twice ! I want to church most Sundays but something was still missing.

I thought it was normal to go to the club and go to church the next day. It was normal for me to NOT read my . It was normal for me to date men that were unequally yolked and I believed it would work out!!! I was walking in .

Here is where I want to help you so that you don’t make the same mistakes I did. Join us on 11/12 as we dismantle what “seems normal” in your mind about relationships. We need to destroy the stronghold of insanity so that FREEDOM can be established for the women in your family!

What if the very things that could destroy your marriage are the things you grew up believing were normal? 👀

Maybe you watched your mother do everything alone. Maybe the women in your family experienced divorce, abandonment, or unhappy marriages.

And without realizing it, you’ve carried some of those same beliefs into your relationships.

Here’s the thing: Just because you witnessed it doesn’t mean you have to repeat it.

Before you prepare for marriage, it’s worth examining what you’re bringing into it.

That’s why we’re having MOLADETH: The Family Audit Class.

We’re examining our family histories, identifying patterns, and allowing Scripture to guide our understanding.

Can we talk about something for a minute?

Step 6 says, We’re entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.

But here’s something I’ve been thinking about…

How many times have we asked God to remove something from our lives while still holding on to the very thing He’s calling us to surrender?

Sometimes it’s addiction. Sometimes it’s bitterness, unforgiveness, pride, or patterns we’ve watched the women in our families struggle with for generations.

And sometimes we’ve become so accustomed to those patterns that we don’t even recognize them anymore.

But here’s what I love about Jesus Christ: He doesn’t just expose what’s keeping us bound. He calls us into a life of freedom and transformation.

John 15 reminds us that apart from Him, we can do nothing.

So today, I’m asking myself a question, and I want you to consider it too:

Am I truly ready to surrender what I’ve been asking God to remove?

We’re walking through all 12 steps with Scripture, prayer, and the name of Jesus Christ at the center.

Follow along for Day 7. 🤎
