MOWGVL around town! 📍Our staff is always looking for ways to learn, grow, and strengthen the work we do for those we serve.

Recently, members of our staff attended two workshops focused on building stronger nonprofit leaders and organizations.

🔹 This morning, a group of us attended The Confident Nonprofit: Practical Skills for Nonprofit Professionals, hosted by Greater Good Greenville. Shoutout to speaker and longtime supporter Kamber Parker Bowden—you were amazing!

🔹Last Friday, two staff members attended the Trauma-Informed Leadership Workshop for Nonprofit Leaders, hosted by Trauma Informed Workplace Consulting.

We have a special volunteer opportunity this weekend! 👟Spinx Run Fest 2026 is this Saturday, October 24, and we are helping keep runners fueled at one of the race’s water stations!

‼️We’re looking for volunteers to join us and lend a hand. Volunteers should be comfortable lifting full coolers of water and Gatorade and pouring cups for runners.

Today, we’re celebrating 58 years of Meals on Wheels Greenville! 🎂

From serving just 20 meals a day at Westminster Presbyterian Church to delivering thousands of meals from our new 25,000+ square-foot facility, so much has changed since 1968. But our commitment to nourishing and connecting our neighbors has never wavered.

We’re grateful for the community that has made this journey possible and helped us show up for our neighbors year after year.

Here’s to 58 years of impact and a future filled with even more meaningful moments. Thank you for being part of our story! 💙

Our staff drivers pack and deliver weekly meals to drop-site locations, corporate route partner offices, Senior Action dining sites, and client homes, as well as bulk deliveries for community partners like Project Host and Mill Village Farms.

Ford Global Caring Month was in September and not only did their team join us in the kitchen to volunteer, but they also presented us with a $10,000 Global Caring Month grant to support kitchen equipment!

Ford has become a wonderful part of our volunteer family, regularly delivering meals and friendly smiles, packing meals, and helping us prepare gift bags. Thank you, Ford, for continuing to invest your time and resources in our mission!
