Help us help you! 🔒🚗

Don’t give thieves an easy opportunity. Remove valuables from your vehicle, lock your doors, and take your keys with you. A few seconds can make a big difference.

Lock it. Take it. Protect it.

Today, we pause to remember Deputy Marcus Whitfield, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty on August 13, 1999.

No amount of time can lessen the loss of one of our own. While his End of Watch marked a heartbreaking day for the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, his legacy has never stopped living on.

Each year, we honor Marcus by carrying forward one of his greatest passions: building positive relationships between law enforcement and the youth in our community through the Marcus Whitfield Camp. Every smile, every lesson, and every connection made is a reflection of the kind of deputy and person he was.

Though his watch ended 27 years ago, his influence continues to shape lives and inspire those who wear the badge today.

Gone, but never forgotten. 🖤💙🖤
