We had an incredible turnout at yesterday’s Reading Champions Volunteer Open House at Town Hall! Together, we celebrated 18 years of early literacy impact in our community.

Greenwich United Way CEO David Rabin thanked our dedicated volunteers, while Champions Manager Cecile Meunier highlighted the deeply rewarding benefits of the program. We also heard inspiring words from co-founders Jodie Rucci and Karen Spole, and long-time Literacy Specialist Jeanne DiGennaro.

Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who make this program possible. Here is to many more years of helping children excel in reading!

Big impact comes in small packages! 💥

Our partners at Athene proved exactly that this morning while volunteering with Meals On Main St.. Though they were a dynamic duo of just two people, they tackled the morning with the efficiency and energy of a massive crew.

Phenomenal work! We are always incredibly proud to connect our local partners and work together to strengthen our community. 🤝✨
