Hi, my name is Lyubim Kogan. I am a 9/11 survivor and I rehabilitate amputee and permanently disabled veterans without governmental programs or funding. I am 99.9% self-funded by family and friends.
I am looking for people who want to make a real Easter miracle happen. Read to the end.
Your Easter challenge.
Two months ago I flew across two oceans and hit the road. VFW posts. American Legion. Rotary clubs. Knocked on doors. Made over 30 speaking presentations. Met hundreds of people and government officials. Self-funded every step of it.
Last week I met a US Veteran. A Captain. 12 years fighting for our freedom in Afghanistan and Iraq.
This man went to kick ass after bin Laden blew up my office and killed thousands of people who worked next to me.
This veteran has been fighting stage 4 colorectal cancer for 3 years. He was recently denied a liver transplant. This week he could not even receive his treatment — his red blood cell count was too low. So was his calcium. So was his magnesium.
I need to take him to Turkey for intensive rehabilitation. Now.
This is Easter. The day we talk about miracles.
I have never asked for help. Today I am asking.

Not every mission comes with a budget, a crew, or a sponsor.
Some are carried on faith — by hand, by heart, and by those who made a promise.
In June, I scheduled over 100 and recorded over 43 podcast interviews across all time zones — some starting at 4:30 a.m., others ending after midnight. At the same time, I hosted a young amputee veteran — for a full month of rehab.
We trained together. We swam together. We hit physical therapy together. We showed up for every session.
And the result?
He was approved for a new $75,000 prosthetic leg — and with it, a future he never imagined possible while lying in a hospital bed after two amputations.
This is what Wings4Heroes stands for:
Showing up when the system doesn’t.
Staying when the spotlight fades.
Now it is time to shift gears and focus my energy on writing the book:
