Three Rivers Options Counselor Alana Lyle recently joined residents at a local nursing home for a fun game of BINGO! Through these meaningful interactions, Alana connects with individuals who may benefit from support through our Nursing Home Transitions Program.

The Nursing Home Transitions Program helps eligible individuals explore options for transitioning from a nursing home back into the community and gaining greater independence.

Three Rivers Regional Commission is working with the Butts County Family Collaborative and Addison Cagle, a 4-H representative, to support a youth-led community initiative addressing bullying and mental health in Butts County.

The Butts County Life Enrichment Team is developing a six-month action plan to provide training, raise awareness, and encourage community action. Together, we can strengthen support for young people and help build a community where they feel safe asking for help.

One of the many ways Three Rivers Regional Commission – Area Agency on Aging works to support and serve older adults in the communities we serve is through our Senior Farmers Market!

Recently, we had the opportunity to bring fresh, nutritious produce directly to seniors at the Villa Rica Housing Authority. ❤️

Programs like this help make healthy food more accessible while also providing an opportunity for our seniors to connect with their community and enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables.

This is just one of the many programs and services Three Rivers Regional Commission provides throughout our region to help older adults live healthy, independent, and connected lives. 🌱

Celebrating National Kinship Care Month! 💙

Three Rivers Regional Commission was honored to attend the Kinship Proclamation Photo Op at the Georgia State Capitol with Governor Kemp in recognition of National Kinship Care Month. This special event is celebrated with the grandparents, relatives, and family friends who step up every day to provide loving, safe, and nurturing homes for children.

We were proud to represent our kinship families and recognize the incredible commitment and love they give to the children in their care.
