Grimes Area Democrats A small but mighty group creating positive changes in Grimes one relationship at a time.

We, the members of the organization known as Grimes Area Democrats, in order to organize and perpetuate an effective, representative and responsible party organization in Grimes, Iowa, advance the interests of the Democratic Party nationally, locally and on a state wide basis, sustain and advance the principals of social justice and democracy, and uphold civil rights, civil liberties and constitutional government.

It was great to get to vote early at the library today. They are there until 4:00. It was nice to see be there with other Grimes Area Democrats. Thanks to everyone who helped get this satellite by signing the petition. Remember that this is not an automatic thing anymore since the law was changed. We will continue to work to provide this opportunity in the future.

What a beautiful day for action! If you are headed to the No Kings Rally at Colby park, tag us on your pictures. We want to see what you are up to. We have lit bags to drop at doors so reach out to Sarah Schaefer or comment here is you would like to pick up a turf.
And Tony and Mandy will be out in Grimes so you could join them. You can see the information below.
And please talk to those around you about their voting plan. An easy thing to do is to vote on Monday at the Grimes Public Library between 10-4:00.

Hey - choose your own adventure today!! We have folks meeting up in Polk City (P& M Apparel at 10AM) and Bondurant (213 Summit Circle NW at 10 AM) -- knocking for me and Kendra.

Then we have a large group meeting up at the Grimes Library at 11AM to knock with me and Mandy.

We're two weeks and two days away - really appreciate ramping up the efforts for 14 more days so we can get all 3 of us into the W column on Nov 3rd!!

If these times don't work for you but you still want to knock - leave a note here and I'll connect with you later. We have plenty of both "friendly" and "persuasion" opportunities! All hands on deck!!!

Thank you to all of the candidates who spoke at the Urbandale Library. It was great working with the Urbandale Area Democrats on this event. It was great to have Patrick Raynard host the event and to have Ryan Peterman (I did not get a picture of him), John Norwood, Chris Jones, Taylor Wettach and Kimberly Graham share their vision for Iowa and Polk County. What an amazing group of candidates!
