Welcome to a New Week and Hot Jobs List!

As we wrap up September and celebrate National Good Neighbor Day on September 28, it's a great reminder that strong communities are built when neighbors help neighbors. One of the best ways to support someone is by sharing opportunities that can change a life. This week's Hot Jobs list is one way we're helping connect job seekers with employers throughout Central Iowa.

Within this list, you'll find opportunities here in Central Iowa that may fit what you're looking for. Please remember that this is not an exhaustive list, just a sample from the much larger pool of opportunities available across Iowa.

When the list is created, we make every effort to avoid repeating companies and job openings within a 3-to-4-week period. This helps keep the list fresh and actionable. However, positions can close at any time, so if you see an opportunity that interests you, visit the company's website and apply as soon as possible.

The Hot Jobs list is created using IowaWORKS.gov as the primary resource, along with other job posting sites and community resources. Be sure to check your local Chamber of Commerce job boards as well. Many great opportunities can be found close to home. A person does not need to be unemployed to use any service. They can be seeking a better opportunity and we can assist them in getting there!

Did you know your local IowaWORKS office offers much more than job listings? Services may include:
• High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) assistance
• English as a Second Language (ESL) classes
• Youth, Adult, and Dislocated Worker programs
• Veteran Services
• Justice-Involved Citizen assistance
• Career planning and coaching
• Training and education opportunities
• And many other career development resources
