Today is National Custodian Day and we have reason to celebrate!

If you have been here before surely you have met Clayton who maintains our beautiful building; he keeps everything clean, helps us set up and break down programing rooms, he mows the lawn in the summer and takes care of the snow and ice in the winter and if you get here early enough you may just get a chance to hear his hoppin' playlist.

He is our go-to when anything goes wrong (whether he likes it or not🙂) and we are SO grateful he is part of The Groton Center Team!

The Groton Center volunteers delivered 3,295 meals to Groton Seniors in 2025 and we need your help this year!

We are looking for individuals interested in serving their homebound/isolated neighbors by delivering a hot meal. These deliveries also serve as a wellness check for residents who may have limited social interaction during the day.

We are looking for volunteers who are available midday once or twice a month to help us provide this vital service to the community.

Did you know that we offer check-ins to a list of high-risk residents ahead of any threat of severe weather?

If you or a loved one are homebound, live alone, are medically compromised or would simply like a check in ahead of any major weather event please give us a call to be added to the list. We do this for winter storms, heat advisories, heavy rain, wind, ice you name it!

Will contacts everyone on the list personally to be sure that you have a safety plan in place and have enough food and water as well as ensuring that utilities are in working order.
