🐂 2027 TEXAS MAJOR LIVESTOCK SHOW ENTRIES – IMPORTANT DEADLINES! 🐐🐑🐖

📢 Attention Trinity County 4-H Exhibitors and Families!

An individual email for each major livestock show has been sent to families who have already validated or will be validating an animal for the 2027 Texas Major Livestock Shows.

📧 If you did not receive these emails and plan to exhibit at a Texas major livestock show, please contact the Trinity County Extension Office as soon as possible to ensure you receive the necessary entry information, forms, and deadlines.

🚨 REMINDER: Validating an animal does NOT automatically enter it into a livestock show. Separate entries must be submitted by the applicable deadlines.

To enter, send a photo of your carving to our Facebook along with the name of the member who created it and the county they are enrolled in as a 4-H member. Voting will take place on Facebook starting on October 27th. Happy carving!

🐂 2027 FORT WORTH STOCK SHOW & RODEO – IMPORTANT ENTRY DEADLINES!

Families planning to exhibit livestock at the 2027 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo (FWSSR), please review the attached flyer for important entry information.

📅 November 9, 2026 – Trinity County 4-H entry paperwork and payments are due to the Extension Office.

📅 November 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST – Official FWSSR online entry deadline.

⚠️ LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!

📧 An email was sent today, October 8, 2026, to exhibitor families who have already validated animals or will be validating animals on October 29 for Texas major livestock shows. Please review that email carefully for entry requirements and instructions.

FFA exhibitors: Contact your Agriculture Science Teacher for your chapter's entry deadline.

2027 Major Show Physical Validation

Physical validation for sheep, goats, and heifers will be held Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 PM at the Groveton Ag Barn.

There is still time to purchase validation tags! Tags are $35 each and must be ordered and paid for by October 20, 2026.
