Last week, our Kindergarten classes had an Apple Week, where they conducted science experiments, math calculations, and utilized their senses to use apples to continue their learning! What an amazing way to extend knowledge going into fall break! 🍎🍏

Kahdijah Ross with Stars and Stripes Realty left our staff a beautiful breakfast Friday morning. With apple "nachos", bananas, oranges, and different breakfast bars, our teachers received all the energy they needed to tackle the last day of the first quarter. We are very thankful to this amazing community partner!

Today for "Future Me Day," a very special Gulfport Police Department officer gave a very special student in Pre-K a ride to school! Officer Matthew Mashburn gave future Officer Alijah H. a ride in his patrol car to school this morning! We love our Community Helpers, and our law enforcement officers who go above and beyond for our students! 👮‍♂️

THIS FRIDAY, September 25th, we are having our first PTO Dance of the year! To celebrate the arrival of the fall season (and the beginning of our fall intersession break), we're having a dance party during activity time!

- Pre-K-3rd graders just need to pay $1 to enter the dance.
- 4th-5th graders will pay $5 to enter and receive a slice of pizza and a drink.
- ALL STUDENTS can bring extra money to shop at Snack Shack, which will also be set up at the dance!

There will be a slip going home this week so that students can pay in advance! Let's dance into fall! 💃🕺🍂
