A new chapter for Double Deuce 🃏🃏

U.S. Navy Capt. Glenn M. Eberhart relieved Capt. Allen E. Willey as commodore of 22NCR during a change of command ceremony at Naval Construction Battalion Center Gulfport, Sept. 22.

During more than two years in command, Willey led 22 NCR through major changes in force posture while Seabees continued supporting operations and exercises across U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/U.S. Sixth Fleet 🌍

As Eberhart takes command, his focus is simple: “The Mission. The Team.”

🌊 Six months. One expeditionary dive team. Missions across U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/U.S. Sixth Fleet 🌍

U.S. Navy Seabee Divers assigned to Underwater Construction Team ONE, Construction Dive Detachment 1-3, recently completed a six-month deployment supporting U.S. 6th Fleet and Commander, Task Force Six Eight - CTF 68

From repairing critical maritime infrastructure in Croatia 🇭🇷 and constructing a boat ramp during 🇱🇻, to salvage operations, hydrographic surveys and training alongside Allied and partner divers, the team demonstrated the reach and versatility of Navy expeditionary engineering.

“The common thread throughout this deployment was readiness,” said Senior Chief Constructionman Estephan Lopez, CDD 1-3 master diver and assistant officer in charge 🛠️

22nd Naval Construction Regiment recently recognized U.S. Navy Chief Logistics Specialist Nikki Davis for an outstanding tour of duty, presenting her with the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and recognizing her qualification as an Expeditionary Warfare Specialist 💪

Both achievements reflect the professionalism, dedication and expeditionary expertise she brought to the regiment throughout her tour.
