👻🚒 WHO YOU GONNA CALL?! 🚒👻

Apparently, the Gun Barrel City Fire Department has a few new recruits… and they're looking a little sheettastic! 😂👻

We told our firefighters it was time for a photoshoot, and let's just say… things got a little SPOOKY around the station! 🎃

Between fighting fires and answering calls, we figured our crew deserved a little time to show off their BOO-tiful personalities! 👻📸

Don't worry, Gun Barrel City… even when they're off being a bunch of goofballs, your firefighters are always ready to answer the call! 🚒❤️

Happy Halloween from your favorite BOO CREW at GBCFD! 🎃👻🧡

Sometimes the best Halloween treat is a little kindness and a whole lot of love!

Tonight, the Gun Barrel City Police Department and Gun Barrel City Fire Department had the privilege of stopping by to make Halloween a little extra special for 12-year-old Korilynn.

After recently undergoing back surgery, Korilynn has been unable to attend the Halloween festivities and enjoy the excitement of the season like other kids her age. We didn’t want her to miss out on all the Halloween fun, so we decided to bring a little bit of it to her!

Seeing her smile reminded us of something important: It’s not always the big things that make the biggest difference. Sometimes, it’s simply showing up, spending a little time, and letting someone know they are loved and thought about.

Korilynn, we hope we made your night as special as you made ours. Keep smiling, keep being strong, and know that your Gun Barrel City police officers and firefighters are cheering you on every step of the way!

From our family to yours, Happy Halloween, Korilynn! 🧡🖤

🚒❤️ Happy National Frist Responders Day❤️🚒

Today, we take a moment to recognize the incredible men and women who answer the call, no matter the time, the weather, or the circumstances.

Behind every uniform is someone who has chosen to serve. Someone who misses family dinners, holidays, birthdays, and countless hours of sleep to be there when someone else needs them most.

To the men and women of the Gun Barrel City Fire Department, we see your dedication, your sacrifices, your courage, and the heart you put into serving our community. We are incredibly proud of the work you do and the family you’ve built within these station walls. ❤️

And to our brothers and sisters in law enforcement, EMS, dispatch, and all emergency services, thank you for standing beside us and answering the call when it matters most. 🚓🚑🚒

It’s more than a uniform. More than a job. It’s a calling.

Today, and every day, we are grateful for those who run toward the emergencies that others run away from.

Happy National First Responders Day from the Gun Barrel City Fire Department! 🚒❤️

Congratulations to Firefighter Thomas “Gus” Allen — 2026 Firefighter of the Year!

The Gun Barrel City Fire Department is proud to congratulate Firefighter Thomas “Gus” Allen on being recognized as the 2026 Firefighter of the Year by American Legion Post 310!

Firefighter Allen has served with the Gun Barrel City Fire Department for five years and has consistently demonstrated a willingness to go above and beyond, take on additional responsibilities, and do whatever is needed to support the department and his fellow firefighters.

Most recently, Gus played a key role in implementing our department’s new operating software and CAD system, helping us improve our operations and better serve our community.

We are grateful to have a firefighter who demonstrates this level of dedication, initiative, and commitment to our department. This recognition is well deserved, and we look forward to watching Gus continue to grow, develop, and accomplish great things in the years ahead.

Please join us in congratulating Firefighter Allen on this outstanding achievement! Thank you to American Legion Post 310 for recognizing and supporting the men and women who serve our community.
