5:15-5:30 3rd Grade Literacy Act Informational Meeting
5:15-7:00 Classroom Visits, Scarecrow Trail, and Food Trucks (Classroom visits will conclude at 6:30)

🍁Skip making dinner and eat with your friends! Vintage Sips and Lena’s Rolling Kitchen will be joining us for the fun!

🍃Make sure you support your favorite scarecrow! Tickets are $1! This fundraiser will be supporting our Art Program.

Vertical alignment in action! 📚✨

Today our ELA teachers came together to dig into reading, text structure, and the language we use to talk about literacy across grade levels. We worked collaboratively to make sure our instruction and expectations are aligned so that our students experience a consistent path to becoming stronger readers.

What makes Cherokee the best is our teachers are never satisfied and want to learn and grow more!

We are so thankful for our reading coach, Mrs. Moore, and the experience she brings!

Proud of the work our Cherokee team continues to do to grow, reflect, and strengthen instruction. 💙📖
