🌼🕯️ Help Us Build Our Cedarlane Community Ofrenda! 💜

In celebration of Día de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead), we invite our Cedarlane families to help us create a beautiful ofrenda in our school cafeteria (MPR) to honor and remember loved ones who are no longer with us. 🧡

We welcome photos of beloved family members, friends, and even pets! 🐾❤️

📸 How to participate:

📧 Email a photo to [email protected] with the subject “Ofrenda Photo”

🏫 OR drop off a printed copy at the school office with “Ofrenda” written on the back.

💐 Please include your loved one’s name so we can honor them. You may also include your student’s or family’s name.

📅 Photo submission deadline: October 23, 2026

✨ Please send copies only, as printed photos may not be returned.

Together, let’s create a meaningful space filled with love, remembrance, and community. 💜🌼

💬💛 THE BEST REVIEWS CAME FROM OUR KIDS! 💛💬

The Move-a-Thon may be over, but we’re still smiling over what our students had to say! 🏃‍♀️🚲🛴✨ From running with friends and riding scooters to cheering each other on, their excitement says it all.

And woven through so many of their comments was something even sweeter: gratitude for the parents, families, friends, and community who supported them. ❤️

Thank you for donating, sharing, volunteering, cheering, and helping make this such a memorable day for our kids. This is what community looks like. 🫶

We moved. We laughed. We came together. And we made some pretty great memories along the way. 💙💛

Way to go, Cedarlane! 🌟

🎉 WE DID IT, CEDARLANE! 🎉

Our Move-a-Thon was an incredible success, and thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our Cedarlane families and community, we raised an amazing $11,442! 🏆💛

A HUGE congratulations to our Top 3 Individual Fundraisers:
🥇 Emerson Dao
🥈 Olivia Han
🥉 Louna Martinez

And our Top 3 Classes:
🏆 1st — Ms. Lee, L. (4th Grade): $1,690
🥈 2nd — Ms. Yoon (2nd Grade): $1,325
🥉 3rd — Ms. Son (Kinder): $1,135

But the biggest celebration is for our entire Cedarlane community. Every donation, every share, every student who participated, and every family who cheered them on helped make this possible. 💙💛

Thank you for showing up BIG for our students and our school. What an amazing way to kick off the year together! 🐾✨

Individual winners will be contacted by PTO, and fundraiser donation prizes will be distributed by the end of the month.
