A big step forward for Hackberry Fire Protection District No. 1. A project almost four years in the making. From the beginning thoughts and ideas became words and drawings on paper to the now finished product. We look forward to Engine 1 serving Hackberry for many years to come.

Thank you to all of the Hackberry Firemen, our Administration Staff (both past and present), our Board of Directors, and our tax payers for making this possible.

On December 6th, 2025, Hackberry Fire Department and Beauregard Fire District 2 had extrication training with MES and Paratech, where they were able to practice the new techniques they were taught.

The elementary students of Hackberry High School spent the morning learning all about fire safety and prevention. Thank you Sulphur Fire Dept. for coming to teach the B.L.A.S.T. Program.
