One of the best parts about the spooky season is bringing our own history into the spotlight (or the chin-up flashlight) of the celebration.
After all; history, and ghosts, go hand in hand.

Every year for our October meeting we try to do a ghost themed program, with wonderful turnouts. The ghost can be the gateway to intrigue for history. Especially when it’s right around the corner.

Last year’s program featured the Jersey Devil, Haddon Heights was among the locations of the first sightings in the early 20th century.

This year we present the haunted history of the White Hill Mansion.

Our thanks goes to the spirits of the season. We look forward to welcoming all who plan to attend, and we hope that you return for the history even when the spirits are gone.

Or are they?

The meeting will take place October 19th, Monday evening at 7 o’clock. The basement of the Haddon Heights Library on Station Avenue. (Neither the library nor our archive are haunted, rest assured.)
