September 11, 2001 🇺🇸

25 years later, we remember the lives lost, the families left behind, and the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and civilians who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We honor their courage. We carry their memory.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸🚒

‼️‼️Water conservation isn’t just about saving water, it’s about protecting our community. During a water shortage, reduced water pressure can impact firefighting efforts when every second counts. Do your part by conserving water today to help ensure it’s there when it’s needed most. ‼️‼️

Last night, our very own Roger Ketcham Jr. was honored by the Suffolk County Legislature at the 2026 EMS Recognition Awards with a proclamation recognizing his dedication and service to the community.

With more than 50 years of service and multiple life-saving instances throughout his career, this recognition is truly well deserved. His commitment, professionalism, and dedication to helping others continue to make an impact both in our department and throughout the community.

Congratulations and thank you for representing our department with pride. 🚑👏
