Halifax Fire & Rescue, in partnership with Halifax Community College and the Enfield Fire Department, INC held a fire extinguisher safety class at Don Pancho / Reser’s during their safety event today.

Knowing how and when to properly use a fire extinguisher can make a critical difference during the early stages of a fire. This training helps employees recognize fire hazards, understand the different types of extinguishers, and gain the confidence and skills needed to respond safely in an emergency.

We are proud to work alongside our community partners to help keep our local businesses, employees, and community safe.

Today we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We also honor those who survived that day but later lost their lives to illness caused by their service at Ground Zero. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication will never be forgotten.

May we also remember the victims, support their families, and honor the first responders who paid the ultimate price on 9/11.

Today we honor and remember the 2,977 souls that were lost on September 11, 2001.

NO DAY SHALL ERASE YOU FROM THE MEMORY OF TIME.

Join us in setting alarms to take a moment of silence to remember and honor the victims, and pray for their families.

We would like to introduce our newest addition to the fleet. A brand new 3,000 gallon tandem axle E-ONE Tanker with an updated graphic scheme.

This apparatus will be used for supporting roles of our main engines and assisting with our neighboring departments in the county and anywhere else requested. It will be very beneficial to our district.

Over the next couple weeks we will be outfitting the truck with gear and providing operating training so it can be put into service.

We want to thank Fire Connections Inc. for providing us a great purchasing experience.

We are extremely grateful to have the opportunity to upgrade our equipment to better serve our community.
