🎉 WHAT A NIGHT! 🎉
We want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and joined us for our 4th Annual National Night Out! 💙
We can honestly say this was our BEST National Night Out yet! 🙌 From the kids running from booth to booth, meeting our officers, checking out the trucks, playing games, enjoying some great food, and just getting to spend time together as a community — we hope you had as much fun as we did!
One of our favorite parts of the evening was watching all of our little Junior Detectives take on the scavenger hunt! 🔎👮♀️🍩 We loved seeing how excited they were to participate, and we ended up with FOUR lucky winners!
🎟️ 2 winners will get a Ride to School with an Officer 🚔
🍕 2 winners will enjoy a Pizza Party with a Cop 👮♂️
We will be contacting the winners’ parents and schools to coordinate these special experiences. We can’t wait to see them have some fun with our officers!
A special shout-out to our friends at the Lavaca County Sheriff’s Office, Hallettsville EMS, and Hallettsville Volunteer Fire Department for coming out and representing our first responder community alongside HPD! We are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside you and for the support you show our community. 🚔🚒🚑💙
A HUGE thank you to Shamrock Moving and Pepsi for providing the amazing BBQ and drinks for our first responders! You helped keep everyone fueled up and made the evening even more special. 🍖🥤
And we absolutely cannot forget our dunking booth volunteers! 😂💦 Thank you to everyone who climbed into that booth and let our community take their best shot. You definitely helped make one of the most entertaining parts of the night!
We also want to thank all of our local businesses, organizations, volunteers, city staff, and everyone who helped make the evening possible. National Night Out is about building relationships between our officers and the people we serve, and nights like this remind us just how special our community is. 💙
📸 We took A LOT of pictures throughout the evening, so we’ll be sharing plenty of them here! Be sure to look through the photos, and feel free to drop your own pictures from the night in the comments. We would love to see National Night Out through your eyes!
Thank you, Hallettsville, for showing up, having fun, and making this our best National Night Out yet! We are already looking forward to next year! 💙🚔
From our HPD family to yours — thank you! 🫶
