🎀 Hamden Police Department Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 🎀

This October, the Hamden Police Department is proud to show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the introduction of our new Breast Cancer Awareness police patches. 💗👮

These special pink patches represent more than a change to our uniform—they symbolize our support for those currently battling breast cancer, the survivors who have overcome it, and the families and loved ones who stand beside them.

Throughout the month, we wear pink to help raise awareness, honor those we have lost, and remind our community of the importance of support for breast cancer awareness.

Out of the Darkness Walk 💙

Yesterday, our community came together for the New Haven/Hamden Out of the Darkness Walk to raise awareness and show support for su***de prevention.

We’re grateful to everyone who walked, participated, and helped make this event meaningful. We were proud to have members of the Hamden Police Department join our community in support of this important cause.

Together, we can remind one another that no one has to face their struggles alone. 💙
