Today, we honor and remember the nearly 3,000 innocent men, women, and children who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. We remember their families, their loved ones, and the lasting impact their loss left on our nation.
We also honor the brave police officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, military members, and everyday Americans who answered the call that day. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to others represent the very best of our nation.
Twenty-five years later, we continue to stand united in remembrance of those we lost and gratitude for those who served.
