☀️ Thank You! ☀️

As the 2026 season comes to a close, we want to say Thank you to the community for the use and support of the East Saugatuck Park this year!

Kids at play, tractors pulling down the track, and celebrations had. It’s been a good year!

Looking forward to a great 2027!

*note* The bathrooms at the park will be winterized in the coming weeks, thus not usable until the spring! Thanks for your understanding!

A new sign with a peak into the past!

After nearly 15 years, the park sign was in need of repair and updating. We teamed up with a community member to review some history of the location and incorporated it into the new sign design to make it a bit more interesting!

Here are some highlights of the new design:

* East Saugatuck is written in the font of the original East Saugatuck Food Market (historical picture posted)

* The green field in the sign represents farming; the core industry of East Saugatuck

* There is a timeline of East Saugatuck in the green on the far right of the sign showing some key dates in the town of East Saugatuck.

Stop in and take a close-up look for details!

Thanks to those that made and installed the previous sign around 15 years ago, and to those that helped make the new sign possible in 2026.

Attached is a picture of the East Saugatuck “Corner” from before the park. The East Saugatuck Civic Association (The formal non-profit name of the Park) was formed in Sept of 1971. Thanks to all those who had vision to create this a park and have supported the park over the years!

☀️ Mark your calendars! ☀️

It’s time to open the park!

Please consider joining us this week Saturday from 8-12 for park clean up!

Come for some or all of the time!

We will be mulching, weeding and doing some light maintenance to get the park ready for the season!

Many hands make light work!

See you there!
