Sometimes, the people who benefit from our programs say it best 🫶

Meet T***s! A former volunteer who now experiences the kindness of our Meals on Wheels volunteers firsthand.

Her story is a beautiful reminder of what community is all about. From lending a helping hand to receiving one, that connection makes all the difference.

At Council on Aging, we're proud to be a place our neighbors can turn to, whether it's a meal, a resource, or simply knowing who to call.

Thank you, T***s, for sharing your story with us🥰

A whole lot of neighbors keep our doors open. 💛nd there are plenty of ways to help that don't come with a price tag!

Sometimes it's dropping off a stack of clean grocery bags we can reuse, or lending an extra set of hands when there's a delivery to unload. Sometimes it's as simple as sharing one of our posts or telling a neighbor about Pantry Partners.

Maybe you've got a little time to volunteer, know someone who could use a hand, or just want to help us spread the word!

It all makes a difference, and we're grateful for every bit of it.

If you've been looking for a way to get involved, reach out! There's always room for another neighbor willing to lend a hand. 💛⬇️

Getting started with SNAP can feel overwhelming. And with changes to SNAP guidelines taking effect this month, you might have even more questions than usual.

But we can help you start the process! 💛

Whether you're applying for the first time, curious about the process, or just aren't sure where to begin, you can ask for a SNAP assister during your next visit to Haven House.

And if you know someone in Hamilton or Corvallis who could use this information, please share! Sometimes knowing where to start makes all the difference.

We've heard from a TON of thoughtful folks, "I want to donate, but when I get to the store, my mind goes blank. What should I get?"

So we put together a Pick Five shopping list to make donating a little easier, especially if you've been wanting to help but aren't quite sure what we need.

Just take a look at the list and pick five things. Five cans of soup? Great! Five cartons of plant-based milk? We'd love those, too!

Or maybe you've already got a few things in your pantry you'd like to share. That works just as well!

Five items might not seem like much when you're tossing them in your grocery cart. But here at Haven House, those are five more things we get to put in someone's grocery box.

We've got the list right here, and there's a printable PDF on our website, too! Save it to your phone, print one for the fridge, whatever's easiest.

Every little bit helps us take care of our neighbors here in Hamilton and Corvallis, and we sure appreciate you being part of that!

📍 Where to drop off your Pick Five donations:

Haven House Food Bank
316 N. 3rd Street, Hamilton
(alley entrance)

⏰ We're here Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 AM–2 PM, and Wednesday Evening from 5-7.

Questions? Give us a call at (406) 363-2450.

Thank you again for helping us keep those shelves stocked!

Sometimes doing a little good for your neighbors can do a little good for you, too. ❤️

As we start thinking about year-end giving, we wanted to share a little reminder!

First, we just want to say THANK YOU! Whether you've dropped off groceries, made a financial donation, volunteered your time, or helped spread the word this year, we're awfully grateful.

And here's something you might not know!

Your financial donations to Pantry Partners may be tax-deductible. In fact, starting in 2026, even folks who take the standard deduction may be able to deduct qualifying cash donations!

And right now, there's another reason your gift can go a little further.

🎁 We're working toward a $12,000 matching grant from the Town Pump Charitable Foundation!

That means financial gifts made during our campaign, which runs through November 30, can help us make the most of those matching funds.

And every dollar helps us keep groceries going home with our neighbors here in Stevensville, Victor, and Florence.

So if you've been thinking about making a year-end donation, we'd sure appreciate you keeping Pantry Partners in mind.

You might get a little benefit come tax time, your gift can help us reach our Town Pump matching goal, and most importantly, you're helping make sure our neighbors have food on their tables.

Not a bad way to wrap up the year, huh? ❤️

And to everyone who's already helped this year, thank you. We really couldn't do this without you!
