As usual, the 7th Ward Marshal’s Office had a great time participating in the Night Out Against Crime, hosted by Crime Stoppers of Tangipahoa, Inc. ! And what a turnout! We came prepared for approximately 600 kids with a mixture of safety materials, games and goodies – and still ran out of everything! That’s a pretty good indication of just how popular this event has become!

It’s been our privilege over the years to support Crime Stoppers of Tangipahoa, Inc. and, most importantly, the kids and families who look forward to this event each year. Seeing so many families come together (in Halloween costume) for an evening of fun is what makes events like this so special.

This year, I only had my wife by my side while giving our Marshal’s Office staff a well-deserved evening off to enjoy some downtime with their own families. They work hard throughout the year, and I appreciate everything they do.

Great job to everyone at CST for another outstanding event! We are already looking forward to next year!
