Chief Bergeron Selected as a 2026 Inductee to the Louisiana Police Chief’s Hall of Fame.

This past week Chief Bergeron had the distinct honor of being inducted into the Louisiana Police Chiefs Hall of Fame as a 2026 inductee.

Police chiefs and first responders from across our state are selected for this prestigious recognition by members of the Louisiana First Responders Christian Association.

A statement from Chief Bergeron:

To receive such an honor from a faith-based organization is especially meaningful to me, as I have always strived to lead with faith, integrity, and a commitment to serving others.

“Throughout my career in law enforcement, my faith has been an important part of my leadership and my approach to serving the community. I believe that leadership is not only about the decisions we make, but also about the values we uphold, the people we serve, and the example we set for others.

I am truly humbled and grateful to be recognized among those who have dedicated their lives to protecting and serving others. I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the Louisiana First Responders Christian Association for selecting me as a 2026 Louisiana Police Chiefs Hall of Fame inductee.

I accept this honor with gratitude, recognizing that it represents not only my own journey, but also the support, dedication, and sacrifices of the many men and women I have had the privilege of serving alongside throughout my career.

Above all, I give thanks to God for His continued guidance, strength, and blessings throughout my life and career.

To God be the glory.
