I was honored to speak at the Hammonton Disabled American Veterans’ 75th Anniversary Barbecue. As a member of the Veterans & Military Affairs Committee, I am always grateful for the opportunity to support and stand alongside our veterans. The Hammonton veteran community has done an incredible job bringing veterans, their families, and the broader community together to recognize and honor their service. I’m grateful to live in a community that shows such strong and continued support for our veterans. Thank you to everyone who has served our country!

I was proud to host superintendents from across my district at my office for a roundtable discussion about the challenges and opportunities facing our schools. As a teacher, I know firsthand how school funding and education policies can impact the day-to-day operations of our schools and the students they serve. Hearing directly from superintendents about the issues they’re facing in their districts was incredibly valuable. I look forward to bringing what I heard back to Trenton and continuing to work toward solutions that support our schools, educators, and students.

My staff and the Department of Taxation hosted a PAS-1 filing event in Pemberton, alongside a Mobile Health Van from Virtua. Residents from across Pemberton came out to take advantage of these important services. Our seniors deserve access to the resources, support, and care they need right here in their community. I’m proud to help bring these services closer to home and make sure our residents know that help is available. Thank you to everyone who participated and to our partners who helped make this event possible!

Back in Trenton today for a Health Committee hearing. I heard testimony on legislation focused on expanding access to health care coverage and expanding licensure pathways for health care professionals. Grateful to be back at the State House and engaged in the legislative process. I also met with a couple of advocacy groups while I was there.

I hosted late-night office hours today! Thank you to everyone who reached out to our office. I also spent time calling constituents who had contacted us to hear more about their concerns and see how we could help.

This afternoon, I hosted a health care workers roundtable at my office. It was great to hear directly from health care workers across the district about the issues that matter most to them and the challenges they’re facing. Thank you to everyone who took the time to join the conversation and share your experiences.
