On Saturday June 20, 2026, The Union Township Environmental Commission is teaming up with the Elayaraja and Yakamuru families for a roadside cleanup from 9AM until 12PM.
Anyone interested in helping out should meet near the area of the Pilot Travel Center. Please note, all participants need to be 16 years of age and older.

On June 7, 2026 The Union Township Environmental Commission, in partnership with the New Jersey Fish & Wildlife, hosted the Hooked On Fishing – Not On Drugs Youth Fishing Challenge.

It was a picture perfect morning for all the young fishing enthusiasts who attended. We even had a visit from some local wildlife!

Bring your fishing poles, tackle and bait for a morning of fun & excitement for children and parents!

The Union Township Environmental Commission, in partnership with the New Jersey Fish & Wildlife, will be hosting the Hooked On Fishing – Not On Drugs Youth Fishing Challenge.

The event will be held Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 9AM to 12PM, Manny's Pond at Hoffman Park, 26 Baptist Church Road, Hampton, NJ 08827.

Gift bags will be available to the first 25 fishing participants. There will be prizes awarded for various event-themed categories.
Please note: Fishing License and Trout Stamp required for those 16 and over
